Exposants photographes
Cette année, le Festival réunit 18 exposants venus de Belgique, de France et d’Espagne, chacun offrant un regard unique sur la nature. De la banquise de l’Arctique aux Alpes sauvages, en passant par les rapaces belges ou la faune discrète de Corse, leurs univers révèlent toute la diversité du vivant. Entre photographie animalière, astrophotographie, peinture, illustration et même origami, ces artistes proposent un voyage sensible, poétique et engagé.
Le public pourra découvrir leurs œuvres, échanger avec eux et s’inspirer de leur passion au Village Nature, du 15 au 19 octobre 2025.

Photographer, author and passionate nature guide
Rafael is an internationally acclaimed photographer, with prestigious awards such as BirdPOTY (2021, 2023) and the Grand Prix at the Festival International Nature Namur (2023). As an author and guide, he devotes his work to capturing the beauty of nature while raising awareness about its preservation. In 2024, he published his first book, Portfolio 1.
His exhibition "Naviguer dans le ciel" tells the fascinating story of flying fish. These extraordinary creatures, which live on the surface of the sea, are highlighted through a series of spectacular images. By capturing their grace and agility, Rafael invites us to dive into an almost invisible aquatic world, while highlighting the fragility of these species that inhabit the planet's warm waters.

Amateur photographer of Belgian wildlife
Passionate about photography for nearly 15 years, Michael has turned his lens towards Belgian wildlife, exploring the forests and wide open spaces of his country. His approach favours a respectful relationship with nature, capturing authentic moments while respecting habitats.
His exhibition, ‘A Spring with the Middle-sized Owls’, presents a series of images taken during careful observation of a brood of Middle-sized Owls in spring and early summer. These photographs offer a rare glimpse into the intimate life of these nocturnal birds of prey, highlighting their behaviour, habitat and the challenges they face. Through this exhibition, Michael invites the public to immerse themselves in the discreet world of the long-eared owl, raising awareness of the beauty and fragility of Belgian wildlife.

Wildlife photographer in Nouvelle-Aquitaine
Pierre, who is passionate about wildlife, devotes his work to capturing authentic moments that respect nature in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, both day and night. Through his lens, he seeks to capture the very essence of animals and their habitats, adopting a discreet and respectful approach.
His exhibition "24 heures de vies" explores the fascinating duality between day and night. It presents side-by-side images of the same animal or place during the day and at night, offering a striking contrast that reveals the subtleties of behaviour and atmosphere between these two moments of the day. The exhibition invites the viewer to immerse themselves completely in the intimacy of wildlife, while emphasising the importance of preserving these vulnerable moments.

La nuit en a des milliards ! -
Astrophotographer
Jean-Pierre explores astrophotography, a time-consuming and demanding practice that immerses him in nocturnal landscapes and the deep sky. Through his images, he invites us to overcome our ancestral fear of darkness and embrace the beauty and immensity of the night. Although his career is still in its early stages, he demonstrates that even with relatively simple equipment, it is possible to capture stunning views of the cosmos.
His exhibition "Le jour n'a qu'un soleil. La nuit en a des milliards!" plunges us into a universe of wonder and questioning, confronting us with the infinity of the night. Through his photographs, he opens the doors to the invisible and invites us to question our place in the universe.

- La nature de la Bulgarie -
Nature and landscape photographer
Originally from Sint-Laureins, Ludo grew up with a deep passion for nature, which he has cultivated since childhood. Alongside his work as a psychiatric nurse, he took up nature photography as a hobby, which quickly became a vocation. Today, Ludo is recognised as a nature and landscape photographer, with his work appearing in numerous publications and books such as "Les Forêts de Meetjesland", "Doel et ses environs" and "Le long des rives de l'Escaut". His work has also been recognised with several international awards.
Since 2014, Ludo has been dividing his time between Belgium and Bulgaria, where he manages a holiday home dedicated to photographers and nature lovers. His exhibition "La nature de la Bulgarie" presents images taken in the vicinity of the Rusenski Lom Nature Reserve and the Balkan Mountains. These photographs reveal the diversity and raw beauty of Bulgarian nature, offering a true visual journey into the heart of unspoilt landscapes.

Wildlife photographer in the Jura Mountains
Fabien, a professional wildlife photographer, dedicates his work to showcasing the wildlife of his local environment, the Jura Mountains. His artistic approach is distinguished by his use of light to capture the beauty of animal silhouettes and landscapes.
His exhibition "Silhouettes sauvages" explores the interplay of light and shadow. Through striking images, he photographs the contours of animal silhouettes or trees in backlight, offering a poetic and evocative vision of nature. These photographs invite the viewer to let their imagination run wild, offering a new perspective on the wildlife and landscapes that surround them.

Animal painter
Based in Sarthe and aged 29, Manon draws her inspiration from nature, which she transcribes with a strong and unique identity. Her world is constructed without colour, using only black strokes that reveal all the power and fragility of living things. She exhibits animal paintings created in watercolour on paper or acrylic, applied to recycled materials such as zinc, copper or aluminium. Her works, combining delicacy and intensity, offer a unique perspective on wildlife.

Photographer passionate about nature
A photographer and lover of the great outdoors since childhood, Jérémie studied fine arts in Brussels before embarking on a multifaceted career path. However, his passion for nature, forests and wide open spaces has never left his lens. A purist in his practice, he favours a local and ethical approach to nature photography, seeking to capture the essence of the places he photographs.
His exhibition presents excerpts from his forthcoming book, offering a unique exploration of nocturnal atmospheres. A journey guided by the piercing gaze of the Eurasian eagle-owl and other nocturnal creatures, which come to life in the dark landscapes. Through this series, Jérémie invites us to immerse ourselves in the silence of the night, where each image tells an intimate story of nocturnal fauna and flora.

Photographer and filmmaker of the polar regions
Florian is renowned for his immersive and poetic images of the Arctic. Inspired by nature since childhood, he seeks to give it a voice through compositions that are both intimate and aesthetic. His work highlights the fragile beauty of the polar regions and the vulnerability of their wildlife, particularly polar bears, which he observes during long months spent on the ice floes.
A contributor to prestigious productions such as Frozen Planet 2 (BBC) and Polar Bear (Disney Nature), he uses aerial photography to reveal the majesty and unexpected behaviour of Arctic wildlife.
His exhibition offers an emotional immersion into a frozen world in flux. More than just images, his photographs are the result of total immersion, of an almost intimate relationship with the animals he encounters. Through his lens, Florian invites us to feel, to contemplate, and above all to become aware of what we risk losing.

Nature and minimalist photographer
Jean-Michel's passion for photography stems from his deep connection with nature, particularly its wildest and most majestic aspects. His work is part of a quest for powerful atmospheres, where light and the search for beauty become essential reference points, aesthetic markers. Attracted by wide open spaces, Lenoir adopts a minimalist and suggestive approach that goes to the heart of the subject, capturing intense moments in their simplicity.
His exhibition "Horizons" is an invitation to reflect on the sea, not only as a natural element, but also as a source of wonder. Through a minimalist approach, Jean-Michel offers us a personal and introspective view of this infinite landscape, where simplicity becomes beauty. Each image is a meditation on silence, space, and the search for deeper meaning in nature.

Nature photographer with a passion for foxes
From childhood, Franco was captivated by drawing, reproducing deer, butterflies and lions. As a teenager, he turned to astrophotography, immortalising the stars. It was not until he was 30 that he discovered wildlife photography, specialising in observing foxes.
His exhibition "Renards au royaume des neiges" features 20 photographs of the Arctic fox in snowy landscapes. The author of several books on this canine, he has exhibited his work in Belgium, France and Luxembourg.

Photographer of the Alps
Born in Annecy in 1985, Yannick has always been aware of the beauty and importance of protecting nature. Passionate about his local natural heritage, he devotes much of his free time to exploring the Alps, seeking moments of peace and encounters with wildlife, which is often elusive and difficult to observe.
His exhibition "Émotions alpines, entre ombre et lumière" immerses us in the heart of the Alps, where man has no hold over nature. From morning to night, Yannick forges an intimate bond with the mountain wildlife, capturing moments of encounter between humans and living creatures. Through his images, he invites us to rediscover our place among the creatures of the mountains and reconnect with this wild nature, which is both powerful and fragile.

- Exposition naturaliste "oiseaux et insectes"
Illustrator and amateur videographer
Since 2000, Dominique has devoted himself entirely to illustration. Selected for the Bologna Fair in 2001, he published his first album in England, before going on to collaborate on numerous projects. A specialist in traditional watercolour techniques, nature is his favourite subject. Active in both children's illustration and educational/naturalist illustration, he regularly contributes to various periodicals dedicated to the environment. For the Festival, he is presenting a naturalist exhibition devoted to the birds and insects.

- Les Gueules Noires -
Wildlife photographer
A photographer since her teenage years, Véronique was introduced to the art of photography by her father, a portrait photographer. It was her passion for nature that then guided her towards a unique photographic approach. During several trips to Africa, notably to Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Kenya and Uganda, she immersed herself in wildlife in the heart of the bush.
Her exhibition "Les Gueules Noires" is a tribute to spotted hyenas. These formidable predators, with their inscrutable gaze and powerful jaws, are intelligent and efficient animals that use the strength of the group to survive. Through her work, Véronique highlights their impressive success, beyond the terror they may inspire, and invites deep respect for these animals and their clan.

Origami artist with a passion for nature
A lover of wildlife, Jonathan discovered the art of origami during a journey of discovery in the Amazon at the age of 25. After travelling for several months through Spain, Morocco, the Canary Islands, and sailing to Martinique, he met an origami enthusiast who inspired him deeply.
It was among the Kichwa tribe of Ecuador that he began creating his first origami pieces, a practice that would continue to evolve. Since then, Jonathan has spent hours observing wildlife in order to capture its essence in his works. His minimalist approach, based on a few essential folds, suggests attitudes and movements, paying tribute to the beauty of the natural world with poetry and delicacy.
Jonathan has exhibited his work in renowned museums, such as the EMOZ Origami Museum in Zaragoza, Spain, and the Natural History Museum in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. He also participates in international conventions and nature festivals, where he shares his passion through workshops.

Nature photographers
Father and son, Eddy and François have shared a passion for insect photography for 20 years. From Belgium to abroad, they skilfully capture fascinating creatures such as butterflies, dragonflies, mantises and other rare insects. Eddy, a retiree, and François, a Doctor of Biology, combine their expertise and passion to document the beauty of the insect world.
The exhibition "Les fées du maquis" is dedicated to a rare insect, the southern ascalaphon, which is almost endemic to Corsica. The photographs, the result of ten trips made between 2014 and 2024, reveal the majesty of this unique insect in the wild landscapes of the Mediterranean island.

Wildlife photographer of the Breton coast
Marc, who has been passionate about nature and animals since he was a child, specialises in wildlife photography, which he has been practising since the age of 12. The Breton coast is his playground, a wild place that nourishes his work and creativity. His naturalist approach is accompanied by a deep respect for animals and their environment.
His exhibition "Vertiges" is a collection of several years of photography devoted to the birds of the European coastline. Through vertical prints, Marc places the bird in a natural immensity, transforming it into a simple component of the landscape, an integral part of the environment. The title of this series, "Vertiges", symbolises the feeling of solitude and infinity that one experiences when faced with the grandeur of the landscape.
